Marvel certainly wants The Inhumans to be a spectacle worthy of IMAX, but you’ll still be able to watch the event premiere on TV. ABC confirms a late September premiere for the new series, along with a slightly-better look at its cast.

Marvel’s ABC Inhumans have gone curiously quiet since May Upfronts (the trailer of which was never released to the public), but all is not lost. Well, some is LOST, as another island alum is confirmed for the Marvel cast with new details on the role.

The cancellation of ABC’s Last Man Standing raised questions of the network’s comfort with Trump-supporting stars, especially as ABC pondered re-calibrating its audience post-election. Reviving Roseanne seemed like a way to gauge that, and network brass now assure “we’re going to be tackling some of the topics that are in the conversation today.”

Well, if Roseanne can come back without needing to make sense of its ending, why not Felicity? That’s the question posed to stars Keri Russell and Scott Speedman, who told Jimmy Kimmel they’d be up for a Netflix revival “in a heartbeat.”

Once we’d gotten past the “why” of ABC’s Roseanne revival, there was still the “how” of John Goodman’s Dan taking part. The character famously served as one of the series finale’s heavier twists, but new details of the revival seek to undo poor Dan’s fate.

Surprised though we were that Roseanne was next on the list for revival, we knew ABC would put up a fight to host it. So it is, that the broadcast network has beaten out Netflix for the chance to bring back Roseanne, currently eying the return for midseason.

Even gladiators must fall. So it is, that Olivia Pope may have officially handled her last Scandal, with reports claiming the Kerry Washington-Shonda Rhimes drama will come to an end with the seventh season next year.

Oh, the Pandora’s Box we opened with even one sitcom revival. Latest off the nostalgia conveyor belt is none other than Roseanne, which will follow Will and Grace and Fuller House with its own modern revival, complete with original cast.

Love or hate the final seasons of LOST, there’s little denying the mythology got a bit … abstract toward the end, between light-filled island corks and temples. That said, producers now reveal that the final episodes were meant to introduce an island volcano that tied things together, but got too costly to depict onscreen.

It’s hard to say when exactly Marvel will look to drum up promotion for its ABC Inhumans, but a September IMAX premiere is fast approaching. As such, Marvel’s royal family is getting their ducks in a row, debuting a new logo teaser to bring us one step closer to a premiere date.

We’re no where near the middle of outrage from proposed congressional budget cuts, the most visible of which would eliminate funding for staples like the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Sesame Street in particular made headlines switching from PBS funding to HBO, though both it, and Jimmy Kimmel have now placed Big Bird in the spotlight to address the historic cut.
