We're not quite sure how this happens. This opening pitch thrown by 'Call Me Maybe' singer Carly Rae Jepsen at the Tampa Rays game on Sunday is a colossal failure.

Carly Rae Jepsen had a busy week in NYC. The singer performed on 'Good Morning America' this morning (June 14), looking extra cute in a leather jacket -- it was chilly -- and with a topknot piled on her head. Notice the singer is now a redhead. Her signature bangs are still in tact, but she's traded her chocolate locks for an auburn shade. Cute!

As we reported last week, Carly Rae Jepsen was recently spotted out and about with boyfriend and fellow musician Matthew Koma. Well, turns out that’s not the man who inspired her mega hit ‘Call Me Maybe.’ Jepsen dumped the ‘CMM’ boyfriend because she got too busy. Say what?! Someone’s treading into some dangerous Taylor Swift territory here.

You know your song has reached 'critical mass' when Cookie Monster from Sesame Street does a parody. I must, it's quite catchy... Much like Carly Rae Jepsen's original Call Me Maybe!

If you haven't made your own Carely Rae Jepson "Call Me Maybe" video, you might be too late. This is when you know you have hit the big time. Cookie Monster has his own parody of the song, called "Share It Maybe". And for some reason it's all about cookies, who could have seen that coming...

We've seen all of the fabulous "Call Me Maybe" lip dubs and remakes but until now, I haven't seen a really good mash up. I have to be honest, I would have never thought of putting these two songs together but Chambaland did an amazing job meshing Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" with Third Eye Blind's "Semi Charmed Life!"

Remember the Chocolate Rain guy that went viral a few years ago? He's back! His name is Tay Zonday and this time he's taken on Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe! I'm still amazed by his voice! He gives new meaning to the term 'drop it low!'
