Some schools reschedule midterm exams for things like, oh, we dunno, natural disasters or deaths in the family. In Norway, five schools have rescheduled their midterms so that the students can go see Justin Bieber perform in concert. Way to have those priorities in line, Norwegian school officials. Actually, this is a well-played and perfectly orchestrated chess move.

Adele Reschedules North American Tour, Adds Texas Stops

Lots of Adele fans who were disappointed when the singer had to cancel her North American tour because of laryngitis, now have something to look forward to.

She has rescheduled the dates, and added six new ones, including some here in Texas. The first round of dates kicks off August 9 in Vancouver, British Columbia and wraps August 24 in Minnesota. The second round begins October 7 in Atlantic City and wraps October 21 in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Every year, the most popular radio station in Los Angeles, 102.7 KIIS FM, puts together a day-long concert, which includes some of the biggest musical acts and guests.

Compared to 1998, the line-up has changed quite a bit - when the event first took place on June 13 at the Edison International Field of Anaheim, musical guests included Will Smith, N*SYNC, Mariah Carey, Olivia Newton-John and Hootie and the Blowfish.

This year, the event was held on May 14 at the Staples Center and included American Idol semi-finalists, Selena Gomez, Ke$ha, special guest host Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, T-Pain, Jason DeRulo, and many more. Talk about a line-up - I wish all these artists could make their way to east Texas sometime soon!
