High School Runner Carries Fallen Competitor Across the Finish Line
West Liberty Salem high school runner Meghan Vogel wasn’t going to win the Ohio D-III 3,200-meter state finals, which was held last weekend. In fact, the junior, who had already won the 1,600 meter, was in last place with about 20 feet to go.
That’s when she noticed that one of her competitors, sophomore Arden McMath, had collapsed and fallen in front of her. Rules state that anyone who aids another runner will be disqualified. But Vogel decided this wasn’t the time to follow the rules.

The SFA Baseball Camps cover all phases of the game, regardless of skill level, and allow the necessary repetition time to see improvement in every skill. The day camps focus on hitting, pitching, defense and other offensive skills that will prepare the camper for competition.

St.Jude Radiothon Is Saving Kids Lives Today
May 10, 2012 The St. Jude Radiothon is going on right now on our sister station Kicks105. For the past 16 years it has been amazing to watch Danny Merrell and Sean Ericson push their elderly bodies (they will smack me for this) to the limit for these kids with a marathon broadcast. They have an amazing conviction for this cause just like we do every year on Kidds Kids Day here at K-FOX.
