The Friends of Ellen Trout Zoo make the Zoo Brew better every year.

As hard as it is to believe, it's actually time for Zoo Brew once again. If you've never been before, it's a pretty awesome event.

Will this be your first year at the annual Ellen Trout Zoo "Zoo Brew"? There's a lot to see, do, and drink at what might possibly be the coolest event in Lufkin.

The Ellen Trout Zoo in Lufkin is hosting the ‘Zoo Brew’ this Saturday. Tickets are on sale at cityoflufkin.com. There will be 125 different beers to try and great food from restaurants all over town.

I heard about this event last year, a little too late.  But let me tell you, this is the best thing going in this town.  You get to sample over 50 different beers and you don't even have to swish and spit! Dark Beer, Light Beer, Imports and Domestics, Zoo Brew had all kinds of suds...
