The sixth annual Diboll Tamale Festival is going on at Old Orchard Park in Diboll (duh). I was going to go and then I was not going to go, but now I just want some tamale's so I will go. Perhaps it was the pictures my friends starting sending getting to me. Or perhaps that I haven't had lunch yet. Sounds like a good time so I guess I am going to head out. Going on till 5pm, so there is still plenty of time to get there and eat some of those delicious meat packed in corn with a husk goodness.

So good food, live entertainment and fun for all. Let's do this.

Guests who park at the Diboll Civic Center can get to the park by train free of charge. Once at the festival, guests can browse from a wide variety of vendors, take part in the tug-of-war contest or sample the famous tamales that gave the festival its name. Though the Tamale Festival is a Hispanic themed celebration, the festival is for anyone, regardless of their culture. The free admission and parking make it the perfect weekend event for families on a budget.
