Dance like no one's watching...unless the slight possibility that Taylor Swift might see your routine suddenly manifests. Then dance like Taylor Swift is watching.

In August, a video of 7-year-old Dylan Barnes aggressively dancing to "Shake It Off" went viral—so much so, in fact, that Ellen Degeneres caught on to his moves, and invited the young performer to join her on her daytime talk show. There, he explained the method to his madness.

"I don't really practice it," he says in the video above before exacting a stunning encore for a live audience. "I normally just make it up during the dance."

A true natural.

Barnes' moves wound up earning him droves of fans. Among them? None other than Taylor Swift, herself. Today (September 22),the pop star posted a video to her Twitter account in which she and Barnes let loose and, indeed, shake it off.

"Finally got to meet Dylan, the 7-yr-old who passionately danced to Shake it Off on @TheEllenShow-- and this happened," she captioned the video, in which she and her superfan shimmy, twirl and leap as if the whole of Lincoln Center is watching.

Check out the clip, and if the sound of T. Swift's tracks have got you in the mood to bust a move, don't hold back—you never know what could happen.

Taylor Swift's true love? Cats, of course!
