This year, Taylor Swift was a charitable chick who gave back to the music community in an apparent mea culpa for her never-ending cavalcade of break-up songs.

Further proving that she lives the life of a Disney princess, good manners and all, Swift has been named the most charitable celeb of the year.

She was given the top spot by DoSomething.org for donating $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame museum.

Starving children? Too obvious. Battered women? Been done. Abused animals? Too cliche. Country Music Hall of Fame? Perfect!

Earlier in the year, Swift was the youngest person to ever receive the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center -- which, oddly enough, happened after Conor Kennedy glimpsed his future of being a tabloid fixture and broke it off with the perpetually-jilted star. Awkward.

Anyway, Miley Cyrus took the No. 2 "most generous" spot thanks in part to her promotion of the Saving Spot! Rescue, a non-profit that finds homes for dogs in “high-kill” shelters. (Kind-hearted gestures like that make it a little harder to mock her when she does the stupid things she so often does these days.)

Other charitable stars included Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Robin Roberts, Pink, LeBron James, Selena Gomez and Ian Somerhalder.
