With a Mega Millions jackpot so huge, you might have hoped that 15 winners would share that insane amount of money, but it turns out one winner gets $540 million after Friday's drawing.  And the winning ticket didn't come from Texas.

But here's why that's a good thing.

It was the third largest drawing in Mega Millions history, and the seventh biggest prize in US Lottery history, according to CNN Money.

The winning ticket came from Indiana, and the winning numbers were 8, 19, 20, 55, and 73. The mega ball was 5.

So, we didn't win but there's a big bright side that comes with that.  We don't have to meet with teams of accountants and lawyers and financial advisers this week, or worry about the tax implications of suddenly becoming disgustingly rich.  So there's that.

Oh, and there's still the Powerball.  Have you noticed that's up over $300 million again?  The next drawing is Wednesday night.  There are 44 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands playing, and we all think we're going to win.  Come on Texas!  It's our turn.
