We knew we were obsessed with ketchup for a reason!

Why is ketchup so good? Why do we insist on putting it on everything? I've been known to squirt some on my potatoes (both French and scalloped), macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches and even Ramen noodles. We. Can't. Stop. It would seem that they last thing we need now is another reason to love ketchup, but thanks to Heinz we have one.

Kraft-Heinz Tomato Ketchup wants the Monday after the Super Bowl to be a national holiday.

*pause for angelic voices*

The makers of our favorite sauce have launched a petition called "Make the Monday after the 'Big Game' a National Holiday" on Change.org. How committed are they to the cause? Well, they are giving all of their employees February 6 off, so I would say they are in 100 percent. Kraft-Heinz believes that the Monday after Super Bowl is not only depressing, it also brings low productivity and financial losses.

With the idea of changing Monday into an extended Sunday called "Smunday", the campaign has garnered over 30,000 signatures. Their goal is 100,000. Once they hit that goal, they will take it to the White House.
