Come to Dr. Bill Shelton’s Totally Awesome Fishing Adventure This Weekend!

My son always wants to go fishing, and I have never taken him.  If you are in the same boat (I made a funny) check this out!  It's the  19^th Annual Dr. Bill Shelton’s Totally Awesome Fishing Adventure on Lake Sam Rayburn Saturday, May 26 at Cassels-Boykin Park.  Something new this year is the  Dr. Bill's Kidz Zone, including a bounce house, obstacle course, face painting, snow cones and cotton candy.

Fishermen and women can register for the tournament online and get more information about how this all works and more details.  This has become a tradition of sorts for people around here and I remember talking about the first one on the air here at K-FOX back in the day! All tournament proceeds benefit indigent cancer patients at the Arthur Temple Sr. Regional Cancer Center.
