Gym Class Heroes have pulled out of the remaining dates for their fall tour, which was supposed to have ended November 19.  It seems that frontman Travie McCoy is ill and has been hospitalized.  In a statement on its website, the band says, "Our day-to-day schedule on tour has been grueling, and [Travie] really hasn’t had a chance to properly recover.  He should be out of the hospital any day now, and we hope by staying in one place and resting, he’ll be back in action soon."

The statement goes on to say, "To all of our fans who bought tickets, we’re so sorry.  We had such a great time recording this album that we couldn’t wait to get out on the road to share the new songs live and in-person with our fans.  That’s why this was such a hard decision to make.  We promise as soon as Trav is back on his feet, we’ll get back out soon to see you."

A rep for Gym Class Heroes says they hope Travie will be released at some point on Wednesday, and that he's still on track to appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend, singing "Stereo Hearts" with Adam Levine. The new Gym Class Heroes album The Papercut Chronicles II will be out November 15.

So is he sick, or well.  Seems like if you can go to Saturday Night Live, you could hit a few shows.  None of this mentions what he is ill with...
