It's finally here! March 29, 2018. Usually, that date doesn't mean to much to us - if your birthday falls on this date, I apologize for that statement, as well as if this date matches your anniversary, kid's birthday, dog's birthday, the day you bought your first house, etc. - however, for the rest of us, it's just a regular day.

Until this year.

This year, March 29th signals opening day of the MLB season! That's right it marks the beginning of a season-long celebration of America's pastime.

And this year, at least for us Texans, it means even more, because this year both Texas teams are playing against each other.

I know we mentioned this last week, but that was a whole different kind of excitement. That was a "The-MLB-season-begins-in-a-week" kind of excitement. Now, we've moved past that. Now, we're in a "IT. IS. HERE." Kind of excitement. Two totally different things. Don't believe me? Too bad. I know what I'm talking about. Trust me.

The defending national championship Houston Astros take on the hopeful Texas Rangers, on the Rangers' home turf in Arlington. Personally, I'm hoping for a Rangers win, but at least this way, we can ensure a Texas win for opening night, regardless of who it is.

It's going down. Will you be watching???
