I heard about this event last year, a little too late.  But let me tell you, this is the best thing going in this town.  You get to sample over 50 different beers and you don't even have to swish and spit! Dark Beer, Light Beer, Imports and Domestics, Zoo Brew had all kinds of suds.

I got to sample a variety of fine micro brews in the sort of wild atmosphere you’d expect from Ellen Trout Zoo!  You walk around from booth to booth getting samples of tasty appetizers, all kinds of beer, and live entertainment. You get a lot for your money.  I don't usually pay to go places, but for what you get it's a bargain and I ponied up the dough.  Tickets were $25 for Zoo members and $35 for non-members. Designated driver tickets for just $15.

It's always a pleasure hanging out at the Zoo and Ellen Trout Park during the Zoo Boo, Zoo Brew, or the 4th of July, it's really my favorite place in town.  I would like to thank Michael Page for dragging me out there and Zoo Director Gordon Henley for being such an amazing host.  It's a brilliant idea,  an event for adults to enjoy some grown-up fun is refreshing here in East Texas.
