Adele posted a note on her official blog giving fans an update about her recuperation from  laryngitis that caused her to scrap her North American tour.  "It was a devastating decision to make, but I really had no choice," she writes. "I had to give my voice two weeks' rest or risk permanent damage."  Adele confirms that she's going to rescheduling the tour and will let fans know the details soon.  She cleared the air on a couple of rumors that she's heard like being told not to sing or talk for a month by her doctor, and says it's not true that she's been taking singing lessons.   Yeah, right like she needs those.  But she does say, "I will do everything I can to make sure nothing like this happens again!"

While she has been recuperating in her London home,  Adele says she's "bored stiff," and spends  her time "watching box sets, and sorting things into neat piles."  She's also cooking, and watching 30 Rock (love that show).  She adds, "I can't wait to be able to sing again."
