The Ultimate Riches scratch-off game from the Texas Lottery has been out for less than a month. It costs $30 per ticket and features four top payouts of $2 million.
A Big Winner in This Tiny Texas Town
Noonday, Texas has a population of about 600. It's located southwest of Tyler, near Lake Palestine.
The town's claim to fame is for growing the sweetest onions on Earth (Noonday onions). However, you can now add another highlight for the town...a $2 million winner.
Someone walked into the Grab A Snack convenience store on Highway 155 South and purchased an Ultimate Riches ticket, which paid out $2 million.
There was no word on who purchased the winning ticket, and chances are that person will remain anonymous.
Another Big Payout
This $2 million payout comes less than 2 months after somebody won $5 million on a scratch-off ticket purchased at a store less than 90 miles from Noonday.
It was in late July that someone played a $50 game in Teague, Texas, and ended up getting a $5 million surprise.
Mega Millions Jackpot Continues to Soar
The top payout for this six-number draw is now up to $800 million, with an estimated cash payout of $401 million. The next Mega Millions drawing will take place on Tuesday, September 10.
No one matched all six numbers for the last Mega Millions drawing, however, someone in Lamesa, Texas managed to match all five of the non-Mega Ball numbers. That was worth $1 million.
Texas Two-Step Winner
One person who matched all five numbers of the most recent Texas Two-Step game. Someone in Mission, Texas did that and won $325,000.
