Spirit Christmas Opening More Stores for the 2025 Holiday Season

(Lexington, Kentucky) - Folks, Christmas is already in full swing at your local retail outlet. Yeah, I know. We haven't gotten our Halloween costume together and stores are already wanting us to get our Christmas decorations up.

Can we scare people first? Can we gather around the table with the family to stuff ourselves with turkey and dressing then fall asleep during the Cowboys game first? Apparently we can't. It's the beginning of October and our Christmas lights have to go up.

Spirit Halloween Spinoff Opening More Locations

Spirit Halloween loves to take over the corpse of closed retail outlets every year. Inside you'll find just about everything you'll need to dress up and scare folks for Halloween. A couple of years ago, the company behind Spirit Halloween decided to tackle Christmas, too.

It's called Spirit Christmas and does the same as Spirit Halloween, finding a closed retail outlet and taking it over. Inside you'll find Christmas decorations for the outside of your home and for the inside, too. There will be be lots of wrapping paper, bows and ornaments.

In 2024, eight stores opened in the Northeastern U.S. (WFAA). In 2025, 30 stores are expected to open. Unfortunately, Texas will not be getting any. Maybe 2026 will be the year.
