Police officers in Waco, Texas, had a pretty wild call this week. According to the footage in the video down below, they were called out to chase down and apprehend a kangaroo that was on the loose.

Sounds hilarious, but kangaroos are not to be trifled with. Have you seen how buff they are? These suckers aren't cute little animals that let you walk up to them and pet them. These are trained fighters.

Angry Kangaroo Takes on Cops in Waco, Texas

Seriously, you don't want to mess with these rascals. While they are only the size of a jelly bean when they are born, they can grow to be over eight meters tall and weigh in at over two hundred pounds. That's a heavyweight in boxing. Oh, and fifty percent of that weight is pure muscle. They can hop ten feet in one jump. Yikes!

Also, it turns out that male kangaroos fight each other daily to assert dominance, so they are well-trained. They can deal out bone-shattering kicks with up to 760 pounds of force per kick. So, yeah, those cops are in for a real showdown. As always, the person recording the footage shut off the camera way too soon. It would have been nice to see the resolution of this three-on-one fight to the finish!
