A makeup artist was kicked out of an "unplugged" wedding for making TikToks and overstaying her welcome, even standing in the middle of the aisle at one point.

The makeup artist, TikTok user @thekeylookllc, posted intimate videos from the wedding day despite being asked to leave the event.

"Come with me to get kicked out of a wedding I was booked to do hair and makeup for," she titled the first part of the video saga, which has since been deleted from her page but re-posted by other TikTok users.

The makeup artist described the wedding day, which took place in New York City on Sept. 7, as "hell."

The MUA filmed content all day at the couple's wedding. She claimed that her contract stated she had the right to film content to use "for whatever we like," but was later told the groom didn't want to film TikTok videos and that the wedding was supposed to be unplugged, a.k.a. free from cell phones for the ceremony.

At one point, she lost the groom's personal lighter, and also admittedly told the hired wedding photographer what shots to take, despite it not being her job to do so.

The MUA also decided to stay for the ceremony and cocktail hour. At one point, she stood in the middle of the aisle to film more content for her TikTok page, and even filmed the couple's private first look moment.

After being asked to leave the event, she supposedly cried in her car before returning to the wedding reception yet again.

Though the MUA deleted her videos after receiving backlash, others saved the clips and re-posted them.

After her story went viral, the makeup artist posted and then deleted an apology video that received even more backlash for not taking accountability.

She has since posted a new apology video, in which she says, "I am so sorry for any of the stress that I caused you behind the content that I posted ... To all the bridesmaids and the bridal party, I am so sorry to any stress that I have caused you. I never meant for this to get out of hand the way that it did.”

After the debacle, bridesmaids and wedding party members came forward in an Instagram Live to call out the MUA for her behavior and confirm she "wasn't contracted to be a content creator."

“When she started taking content that was taking away from the hired photographers' and videographers' content is when we started to have a problem with it,” one of the bridal party members said, adding that multiple wedding guests complained about the makeup artist as well.

When asked why no one intervened sooner during the wedding, they shared they didn't want to escalate the problem with someone who couldn't "read the room."

Many users on TikTok found the MUA's behavior cringe-worthy and shocking.

"I thought she was the makeup artist? How’d she even have time to do a single person's makeup if she was recording everything?" one person wrote.

"You had one job," someone else commented.
