Lufkin Rocks! Painting Event

Paint some rocks, and there might be some pizza in it for you.

Everyone is getting into the spirit of Lufkin Rocks. You may have seen them on social media, or you might have found a rock yourself. If so you know that these aren't any old rocks. These brightly painted rocks are placed around town for others to find.

That's really all there is to it. It's simple, it's fun, and it brings a smile to your face when you find one. You take a picture with the rock when you find it, keep it and replace it with your own, or just put it back where you found it for the next person to enjoy. Lots of people all over the country are doing it and posting the pictures on social media.

Marco's Pizza is hosting a rock painting party, and they already have a facebook event up about it.

Get some regular old rocks around the house, and bring them with you. They will provide the paint and the paint brushes. Painting the rocks is only half the fun, then they will hide the rocks around Lufkin to brighten someone's day!
