New Astroworld Coming Soon To Houston – Grand Texas

Big thrills are coming back to Houston, and closer to East Texas. As a kid I went to Astroworld many times with my cousins. It's been long since shuttered, but there is something new on the horizon and it will be Grand!

Grand Texas is set to open up in the Summer of 2015 in New Caney. It will be a theme park with roller coasters and a water park is also coming called Big Rivers. There will be something for everyone. Steam powered paddleboats to giant trill rides! The park has several roller coasters planned one of which will be in the top 10 biggest wooden rollercoasters in the nation.

I like that the park itself while huge will incorporate as much of the flora and fauna that is already there. Imagine a lazy river through pine trees instead of through a cement jungle. It will be a huge undertaking and It will be amazing to watch it take shape.
