Anniversary

The release of the PlayStation 2 in the United States on October 26, 2020 ushered in a giant leap in video game technology and turned into a new console war.

The Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES, made it's debut in the United States 35 years ago. It was my first video game console and still my favorite.

It's hard to believe that Hurricane Rita was actually 15 years ago. We've made it to the 15th anniversary...that's crazy...

It's brings in humor, sadness, action, joy, and more. It's one of those movies that I have no problem watching on repeat. It never gets old.

Americans have been through a lot in the 25 years since the Oklahoma City bombing that killed 168 people.

Ever noticed how our taste buds have to work up to ice cream as the day goes on? Nobody really eats an ice cream cone for breakfast.  As we ponder the big ice cream questions, we can save a little cash on scoops today (Wednesday) at Baskin Robbins as they celebrate their anniversary, starting at 11am.  The scoops could be for brunch, or whenever our taste buds decide they're ready.

These are my amazing parents, and I am so proud of them.  Not only do they make great cows, but today is also their 43rd wedding anniversary.  Not many couples make it that far!
