Chicken

Plant-based proteins are catching on and slowly taking over the grocery store freezer section and deli meat case. And soon, we may be able to get mock chicken at the fast food drive through.

To say the least, it's not ideal to lift a freshly sauced and grilled chicken wing to your mouth and taste dirt and sand.  That puts a damper on the back yard party. There's one company recalling its products now over worries about sand and black soil in the chicken. And there are a few East Texas grocery stores where you may have purchased it.

Do you know where to get "pastured" "grass fed" and "nitrate free" food in Lufkin? I didn't and I am still learning so I thought I would try to put a little of what I have learned out there.

I thought it was a joke, but apparently it's not. You can actually buy a corsage made out of fried chicken for your prom date. What a time to be alive. Make this prom season awesome.

As if a teacup pig isn't enough, Honey Boo Boo has a new pet... a pet chicken named Nugget!

Over the last year, the book series “Fifty Shades of Grey” became a must-have for women everywhere. Beside a possible movie in the future, the series has spawned many jokes and memes, and now a new cookbook. The cookbook called “Fifty Shades of Chicken: A Parody in a Cookbook”, promises 50 chicken recipes ”bound to be delicious”...

Easter is coming up soon and for some reason this clip just seemed appropriate.  I don't think cats and birds get along together.  Much less cats and chickens.

Just imagine if you will that you could only lip read, and had to make up the lyrics to Rebecca Blacks - Friday.  Then this would happen.  We would have chicken to no eat.  And Barney.  Plus Gang Fights!
