Given that the Lone Star State has the largest number of snakes than any other U.S. state, it's good to be aware while enjoying our Texas lakes.

There's a season for every animal in the Lone Star State, and currently, we're in one for a venomous animal.

One state should be more worried than others when the snakes are more active this year.

As un-fond as I tend to be of snakes, there's something about Pancho and Lefty who live at a Texas Zoo that makes me feel compassion for them...or, um...HIM.

Sinaloan milk snakes are one of the most easygoing, cuddly snakes.

I HATE snakes! Especially when they look like trouser snakes! What freaks me out is that it turns out this 'snake' isn't even considered a reptile! Either way, there's way more than blind snakes to blow your mind when you watch this video! You won't believe  the 'tree' moth or what they do with dirty diapers...

With the nice spring weather more people are starting to spend time outside, and the right combination of rain and sun also means snakes are happy, and they’re being spotted in greater numbers.
