The Family Crisis Center is kicking off Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Lufkin with an event called "Prevention in the Park," starting at 12 Noon on Friday, April 8th.

Lufkin Middle School Fine Arts Department's annual Christmas program is tonight! LMS Auditorium at 7 pm.  Bring 3 canned goods, 3 dollars, or a new unwrapped toy. It all benefits the Women's Shelter of East Texas.  I got a chance to tour there facility and they do an amazing service for our community and surrounding areas...
