Road trips can often get boring. So what do you do when you run out of options to keep you occupied? If you are the boys from Harvard’s baseball team, you put on a Carly Rae Jepsen’s pop hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ and lip-synch to it while the camera’s rolling.
While most soldier homecoming videos we have featured in the past involve our brave men returning home to their wives, parents and children, here’s a video to prove that dogs are just as much a part of the family as anyone else.
Of all the things babies find amusing, you wouldn’t normally assume the vacuum cleaner would cause a toddler to go into hysterics. For these parents, the vacuum is exactly the household item their baby couldn’t stop laughing at when its switched on.
How does one feed adrenaline junkie toddlers? According to this dad, apparently fill a sack full of foam and toss your kid across the room. This video will either shock you, or it may make you laugh, because it’s little boy wearing just a diaper and a cape being flung by his dad from across the room — twice.
It was only a couple days ago that we showed you a video of Batman cruising in his ‘Batmobile’ (but really a black Lamborghini) on I-95 in Silver Spring, Maryland. What we didn’t see later is the same Batman getting pulled over by Montgomery Country police because of an improper rear license plate. Turns out the bat symbol isn’t a street legal plate.
Getting stars you loved in the ’80s and ’90s and putting them in commercials seems to be the trend nowadays. Hot on the heels of ’80s teen-idol Matthew Broderick taking a”day off” for a Super Bowl commercial, now comes an ad starring two well-dressed teen idols from the early ’90s.
Kids love and look up to Captain America from ‘The Avengers,’ so it was a shock for this one boy to see his favorite superhero show up on his doorstep. Though the bigger shock came when he realized that this real-life strong man was actually his army dad returning from Afghanistan.
Adele is inescapable these days. The British singer continues to dominate the charts, and her songs are all over the radio and YouTube, thanks to aspiring singers uploading their covers of her many hits. Adele’s music influences both young and old alike. Even the really young adore Adele, as evidenced by two-year-old Makena, who looks so cute as she mumbles through ‘Someone Like You.’
Time to go “awwwww” again. This burly old man seems to possess the amazing ability to put a litter of Boxer puppies to sleep just by singing to them. He begins singing softly to them, and one by one, the puppies just fall into their blankets and close their eyes.
Social media has the changed the world in so many ways, there’s hardly anybody that hasn’t experienced its impact, no matter how big or small. Twitter in particular has opened doors to celebrities that us commoners never imagined. Why wait for a star outside a restaurant in Beverly Hills to get a scribbled autograph when you could just get a shout-out from them on Twitter? And it has worked for many.
Let’s face it, we all hate how we look on our driver’s license. There’s little we can do after the picture is snapped, which is why Adam Bard from British Columbia decided to make his driver’s license photo a memorable one – by shaving his beard and hair in half.
