Oh no! Demi Lovato was rushed to the emergency room yesterday (Feb. 24) and has been hospitalized for a lung infection, TMZ reports.

The site claims that a friend of the "Really Don't Care" singer took her to the ER at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in California because Demi was having "significant" difficulty breathing. So scary! TMZ reports that doctors determined that the problem was flu-related and gave her medication for it. They also claim that as of late Tuesday afternoon, the singer was still at the hospital.

According to TMZ, the timing of Demi's hospitalization was unfortunate -- although, when is it ever a good time to be rushed to the ER?! -- because the singer had some scheduled studio time with a big producer and was forced to cancel. While we're sure Demi was bummed (and we can't wait for her new album, which is set to drop this year) her health is the absolute most important thing. We're grateful that her friend took such good care of her!

Ever supportive of their idol, Demi's hardcore Lovatics quickly took to Twitter to trend the hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi after hearing the news, sending the singer their best wishes for a speedy recovery. Check out some of their tweets below:

We certainly wish Demi Lovato all the best and hope that she gets well soon. Hang in there, Demi (and Lovatics)! We're rooting for you.
