Jennifer Lopez says the most recent season of American Idol wore her out, so that's why she took such a long  time  signing a new contract to come back as a judge.  People magazine reports that at a press conference in Georgia, where Idol is currently taping, J-Lo said, "I got a little bit tired at the end with everything going on in my life at the time." That could be a reference to her subsequent split from her husband, Marc Anthony.

Lopez said she finally chose to rejoin Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler at the judges' table because American Idol was "one of the best things I've ever been involved with." Fox officially announced earlier this week that all three judges would be back for sure in January.
