Lil Wayne Releases Own Version of Eminem’s Song ‘Stan’ [VIDEO]

A newly released single by Lil Wayne pays homage to Eminem's song about over passionate fans.

It has been nearly ten years since Eminem released "Stan", a song that shows how obsessed fans can get over their idols. Now, Lil Wayne has released his own version of "Stan", calling it "Dear Anne (Stan 2)". Staying on the more sincere side, Wayne writes a letter to a fan to tell her how appreciative he is.

Swizz Beatz produced the track, and said he did submit the track to Eminem, trying to rekindle the spark "Stan" made. But when the media caught wind of what was happening, they blew it out of proportion, causing Eminem to push the track aside.
