When it comes to her health,  Adele can't catch a break.  She has been forced to cancel her upcoming tour of the U.S. because she's got a hemorrhage in her vocal cord.   Adele was forced to scrap her North American tour due to laryngitis, and to postpone a handful of dates on her UK tour due to a chest infection.  She just completed that UK tour.  Refunds are available for Adele's scrapped shows, which was supposed to be almost over by now,  ending  October 21 in Grand Prairie.

Doctors have told her  to rest her voice for an extended period of time.  Adele said, "Singing is literally my life, its my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or i risk damaging my voice forever."

She went on to say, "I have great confidence in believing you know how much this upsets me, how seriously i take it and how truly devastated and annoyed i am by this. wanting to do something so bad and not being able to is the most frustrating thing as im sure you know! my voice is weak and i need to build it back up."  Adele stated that she's going to start "vocal rehab" soon and added that she apologized "from the bottom of my heart."  She finished by saying, "Please have faith in me that this is the only thing i can do to make sure i can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability. truly yours and yours only forever, adele xx.”

I am pretty sure extended means till at least after the Christmas Holidays.
