The people who bring you American Idol keep on saying this is the best season ever, and here's more proof of how highly they regard this year's crop of contestants.  SIMON FULLER, the guy who created American Idol, has announced that he'll personally manage this year's winner and runner-up.  This will mark the first time that Fuller has personally managed a contestant from the show since he took on ADAM LAMBERT.

Over the years, Fuller has also personally managed other American Idol contestants and winners, including CHRIS DAUGHTRY, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, JORDIN SPARKS, DAVID COOK and KELLY CLARKSON.  It's worth noting that all those contestants have enjoyed great post-Idol success.

In a statement, American Idol host RYAN SEACREST said, "Simon Fuller is one of the best artist managers in the business and his track record for success is indisputable. Past Idol winners have become stars under his guidance, and I'm psyched that this year's American Idol winner will have the opportunity to work with him." (ABC NEWS)
