Some headlines are just so weird they make you stop and ask yourself what the heck is even happening these days? At the same time, when we get so used to bizarre headlines, you may be at the point where you're not even really all that surprised.
Even though I'm a native Texan and have lived in East Texas since I was a tween, I wasn't aware of that. I found it particularly interesting given that we live in such a lake-centric area. I love getting out on one of our East Texas lakes and feeling the daily stresses just start to slide off my psyche that butter on a hot roll.
Paddy, a beloved white rhinoceros at the Ellen Trout Zoo in Lufkin, TX, sadly passed away on Nov 8, 2016. Highly regarded for her unique personality, Paddy will be deeply missed by her animal care staff.
