Remember the big burn ban we had last year? Well, let's thank mother nature for sending us lots of rain and for making the weather cooperate this summer so we can have amazing fireworks displays in Lufkin and Nacogdoches on Fourth of July!

Had our first 4th of July Fireworks meeting today with the City Of Lufkin and Mike Love & Associates Law Firm.  You know Mike Love and the guys don't just sponsor the event, they will be the ones on the other side of the lake firing those big shells off for us Wednesday, July 4th at Ellen Trout Lake. ...

Anyone that knows me knows I love it when something blows up.  Now my relative position to the object also enhances the experience.  I'd say around 200 yards and I am all good....and let er' rip.   Found this video of the Fireworks Display n London for the 2012 New Years and I am amazed...

The Mike Love & Associates, City Of Lufkin Fireworks Extravaganza is Monday July 4th at Ellen Trout Park.  The Zoo Opens at 9am as usual, and things start hopping after that in the park.  There will be lots vendors from all over the state with plenty of drinks and food.  ...
