The newly crowned Nebraska native will represent the U.S. in the Miss Universe competition later this year.

Donald Trump made the announcement via the Today Show that the Miss USA competition is heading south to Baton Rouge for the 2014 event!

Everyone seems to be making fun of Miss Utah in the wake of last night's Miss USA pageant. I mean really, who wouldn't want to create education better? Yeah, not a good choice of words, especially when you're answering a question about income inequality, but I digress...

The new Miss Universe is from Cranston. Rhode Island.  20-year-old Olivia Culpo out-shined dozens of contestants from 6 continents to bring the crown back to the U.S.   Culpo beat out 88 competitors Wednesday Night at the Planet Hollywood Casino on the Las Vegas strip.
