Terrible Karaoke Tuesday – Lorde ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ [WATCH]

Another Tuesday, another 'Terrible Karaoke Tuesday! This time I take on the new song from Lorde: 'Yellow Flicker Beat' from 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack. I really like this song, and I apologize for butchering it before you have ever heard it.

We were going to do this song with the lyrics, but it's brand new and they are not even posted correctly yet. But that is no excuse. I personally blame Martin as he forgot that we did it that way. I think singing it with the lyrics makes it more like Karaoke.

But what people don't understand is that doing karaoke without the lyrics isn't really karaoke. It's just improv while something is going on in the background. So next time we will remember to pull up the lyrics so at least I could get some of the lyrics right. But it's still very hard to sing a song you have never heard with the words right in front of you.

So I hope that this encourages you to sing like no one is listening. Even if it's on You Tube forever, and will embarrass my kids, kids, kids in the future.
