Britney Spears appeared on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' where she was surprised with a dance lesson from 'Gangnam Style' YouTube sensation Psy.

The 'X Factor' judge told the talk show host that she had tweeted about the energetic Korean pop star, and before she knew it, DeGeneres brought out Psy himself to teach Spears a thing or two. Naturally, Psy introduced himself to the audience in true Gangnam Style form.

After trading handshakes and kisses with Spears and DeGeneres, Psy began the simple instruction on how to do the dance. "You have to take your shoes off," the host said to Spears. "You're not going to be able to dance like that."

Before Brit, who was wearing nude platform pumps, could respond, Psy said, "This is fine, because the mindset of this dance is 'Dress classy and dance cheesy.'"

Psy then taught the ladies the dance in three simple steps. First, the hopping leg movements, then a crossed hand movement ("like you're riding an invisible horse"), topped by a final swing of the forearm. Simple!

'Gangnam Style' was released on July 15 and debuted at No. 1 on the Gaon Chart singles chart. The video currently boasts over 144 million views on YouTube.
