Batman Themed Mashup Bomber Style

The East Texas Bombers came by the station today to talk about their upcoming event. 

Join the ETB Saturday December 2nd at the Lufkin VFW post 1836, 1800 Ford Chapel Rd., Lufkin to see it all go down. Doors Open at 2pm and the first game starts at 3pm, with the second game starting at 5pm. Admission is $10 at the door, Veterans and active duty $5, get a pre-sale ticket form the bombers for just $5. Kids 10 and under are free.

What is a mash up? Well that is an easy question to answer. Instead of our local roller derby playing another team, derby girls from all over, as far as West Monroe, Louisiana are coming to form two separate teams with the ETB all mixed in either team. That's at least how it was explained to me, and since they are putting on this even I am thinking that is the way this mash up is going to work.

The two teams will be divided into two camps. Batman and Joker. Themed dress and makeup will be something to come out and look forward to seeing. It's also a double header, including a Co-Ed game. I thought that was very nice of them to include a few men in the mix, I have never seen that before, and it should be interesting.
