  • The family is concerned for her welfare and she has been missing since Sunday.

While we were braving freezing temperatures and black ice on the roads here in Deep East Texas, an Angelina County family has been franticly trying to find their daughter.

Naveah Ganson, 16, has been missing since Sunday from the Huntington and Zavalla area according to Angelina County Sheriff Tom Selman.  She left her home and did not come back, and the family wants to know that she is okay.

According to an interview with Sheriff Tom Selman in the Lufkin Daily News, the Angelina County Sheriff is now asking the public for any information about her whereabouts.

Help reunite Naveah Ganson with her parents. If you have information you can call the Angelina County Sheriff's Office at (936) 634-3331 extension 2. You can also contact Crime Stoppers at (936) 639-8477 or the Lufkin Police Department at (936) 633-0356.

Crime Stoppers is a great way to submit an anonymous tip. You can do it from their app or on their website at 639tips.com. 

Some posts online about this missing teen have said that Naveah could be in imminent danger as she may be in the company of a middle-aged man. This has not been confirmed and has not been directly mentioned by law enforcement.
