Slow-Motion Run, Don’t Walk, to the First ‘Baywatch’ Trailer
It has become increasingly apparent that the best thing a revival of a tired ‘80s pop-culture artifact can be is the neo-21 Jump Street, judging by the new trailer for the Dwayne Johnson-fronted Baywatch. The parallels are striking: we’ve got the central odd couple in the Rock’s bombastic beach hero and Zac Efron’s hard-partying young gun, light meta touches about “reviving the brand,” some playful winks to the core goofiness of the source material (the “why does she always look like she’s running in slow motion?” line may be the best of the clip), even a scene where our heroes are dressed down by a furious black cop. You may call it derivative, but I call it a good start.

‘Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates’ Trailer Sends Four Stars to Hawaii

A vacation you take as a favor to someone else, the destination wedding is the scourge of the social calendar, but Adam DeVine and Zac Efron inadvertently stumble upon the perfect antidote to the lameness in the newly revealed trailer for Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. As the title may suggest, the brothers Mike (DeVine) and Dave (Efron) Stangle need wedding dates. What they get is more than either had bargained for.

‘Dirty Grandpa’ Trailer: Robert De Niro Does Spring Break
Robert De Niro has officially reached the IDGAF point of his career (Harrison Ford can relate), with recent roles in films like The Intern and Heist, the latter of which you probably haven’t heard about. Okay, he isn’t completely off the reservation, since David O. Russell has been keeping him on the legit side of things with his role in Joy, but recent years have seen De Niro take a turn to the sillier, lighter side of things and Dirty Grandpa is his latest foray into the wacky, starring opposite Zac Efron in a film that sees the unlikely duo saddling up for a Spring Break trip.
