Local Lufkin MLB player, Brandon Belt is back at it again with another $10,000 scavenger hunt. This time it's a holiday version.

The game started this past Sunday, and they gave out the first clue at 9 am. It was a compass with the South East area highlighted in green. It came with the following message.

A one-of-a-kind, SIGNED BRANDON BELT BASEBALL CARD will be hidden within the Lufkin city limits prior to the first clue being posted.
No words or letters to go find this time. Simply read the clues and use them to find the CARD! The person who finds the card WINS! 🙂

That was all someone needed to find the one-of-a-kind, signed Brandon Belt baseball card hidden within the Lufkin city limits.

First $10,000 Winner Happened Quickly

After releasing the picture of a compass and the message the baseball card was found on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. It was hidden behind the Lufkin city limits sign on the way to Huntington.

The words 'city limits' were right there in the message, and the compass pointed the winner the way to go. I believe Brandon hoped that it would be found so quickly.

What he did next was what really started a frenzy. He hid another card and with it another shot for $10,000. That card has yet to be found.

The New Scavenger Hunt Will Be Harder

The second game's first clue was pushed out on social media via the 'East Texas Scavenger Hunt' and its associated pages on Wednesday.
