2019 Kid Fish In Nacogdoches

My kids are crazy for fishing. There is a lot of expense if your kids get into the sport. If they express an interest, just take them to Kid Fish. I think this is a great way to see if they will take to it. If they don't want to take their own fish off, this might help them. Seeing peers doing something, normalizes that behavior, and perhaps will instill confidence in them.

The Nacogdoches Parks and Recreation Department's Kid Fish, at Lakeside Park is for kids from 1-16 years old. It's January 26th, 2019. Registration starts at 8am, ending at 9am. Fish from 9am -1pm. Just bring your own fishing gear, and you can easily fish off the bank. They usually stock the small lake and have lots of Trout.  It's located on 4800 Pearl St. in Nacogdoches, and is in town.

You are very close to Wal-Mart, so if you run out of bait, or need to get some supplies before hand, it's an easy, in town trek. I really enjoy that lake, and this is the one event, that helps stock it up every year.
