50 Cent and Busta Rhymes Exchange Playful Disses on Instagram
50 Cent's itchy Instagram fingers are acting up again. Earlier this week, the rapper-turned-actor fired shots at fellow New Yorker Busta Rhymes' neck size, who responded with heat yesterday (Sept. 11).
"And the award for the strongest neck in Hip Hop go’s to Busta Bus Yay LOL," Curtis wrote in the since-deleted post that sparked the spat, according to screenshots.
Fif reportedly followed by posting the screenshot of a text conversation in which he tells Brooklyn rapper Casanova that he's not afraid of Busta, and a subsequent post claiming Rhymes and longtime New York rap manager Big Fendi were "trying to have [him] killed." Both posts were deleted.
In any case, Busta responded Tuesday with an Instagram post of a young 50 Cent mugging at a camera. He did not hold back with jokes about the "In Da Club" rapper's physical appearance.
"Damn I’m just payin’ attention to what’s goin’ on cause I been busy finishin’ this new album," Busta's caption opened.
He continued, "Your tough look looks funny as hell you tight button face havin’ ass nigga ... You look like you was smellin’ shit like yo bandana stink you rancid face lookin’ ass mu’fucka ... Fuck you startin’ wit me for?!. That’s why I’m a keep bustin’ yo ass and EVERY FUCKIN’ BODY else ass on EVERY STAGE!!! You deflated tire performin’ face ass nigga!!!"
Undeterred, 50 doubled down on his diss today, writing on Instagram, "@bustarhymes is mad at me because l said he has the strongest neck in hip hop ... but he got the strongest neck l ever seen ... fuck it." He then posted another photo of Busta dancing wildly on stage.
The Power star was last seen posting Colin Kaepernick memes to make fun of Floyd Mayweather, Eminem and Kanye West. Busta, for his part, opened several Lauryn Hill shows this summer and appeared on Westside Gunn's latest album Supreme Blientele.
