A Colorful Cultural Fiesta Is Coming To Historic Downtown Nacogdoches
Dia de los Muertos is coming up. If you don't know what that is all about, all you have to do is head to downtown Nacogdoches Saturday, November 6th, 2021.
Celebrate with the entire community. There will be tons of food, fun, and free entertainment on the brick streets from 4 pm -8 pm. I know one thing, at least it's cooler this time of year, so I would love to see this festival.
The Nacogdoches Public Library is hosting the event, and they are the reason that this is all happening. If you are looking for something to do with the entire family this is a full event downtown.
Things To Do
There will be all types of food booths and local artwork. It's great to go somewhere you can meet the artists you are buying from.
This will be the culmination of all the NEA big read 2021 events. All kinds of events were held to celebrate the National Endowment For The Arts Big Read.
The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment For The Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. It's all about changing your perspective.

Live music will fill the streets with free entertainment. You can join in on the entertainment by joining the costume contest.
If this event has got you interested, you might want to be a vendor. There is still plenty of time to get that done just CLICK HERE.
This event will be all over downtown and has been happening for the past eight years. For more details contact the library at 936-559-2970 or hicksc@nactx.us
