Angelina Arts Alliance Announces Rescheduled Kristin Chenoweth Performance In Lufkin, Texas

Kristin Chenoweth was originally scheduled to perform at the Angelina Arts Alliance season opener on September 3rd, 2022. Now Chenoweth's upcoming nuptials have caused the show to be rescheduled.

The "Wicked" performer's show will now be on May 6th, 2023 at 7:30 pm on the Temple Theater stage. All of the season tickets will be honored on the new date.

This announcement comes right before individual tickets go on sale Monday, August 1st. You can get seats online at angelinaarts.org or by calling the box office from 11 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday at (936) 633-5454.

Chenoweth has been dating country music singer and guitarist Josh Bryant since 2018. The Backroad Anthem band member proposed to her on a rooftop in New York on October 27th, 2021. Bryant is 14 years her junior.

Their wedding date has been somewhat of a mystery, but with our local Lufkin cancellation, we can now take an educated guess. The pair first met at a wedding where Backroad Anthem was performing in 2016, and then met again under the same circumstances in 2018. Now it's time for their big day.

54-year-old Chenoweth has never been married before, though she was once engaged to actor Marc Kudisch aka Steve Lasko from various soap operas. She was also once engaged to producer Dana Brunetti. Neither engagement ever resulted in marriage.

Bryant was previously married to actress Melinda Mullins in 2005.
