I couldn't really think of a movies that I like more than Shawshank Redemption and Driving Miss Daisy, Morgan Freeman just gives amazing performance, and these are amazing stories. The Angelina Community College is going to put on a production of Driving Miss Daisy at our local VFW Hall in Lufkin.

FEATURING PAT BALDWIN** General admission $10.00, Students & Seniors $7.00 Daisy Werthan (Pat Baldwin), an elderly Jewish widow living in Atlanta, is determined to maintain her independence. However, when she crashes her car, her son, Boolie (Steve Killam), arranges for her to have a chauffeur, an African-American driver named Hoke Colburn (Don Wilson Glenn). Daisy and Hoke's relationship gets off to a rocky start, but they gradually form a close friendship over the years, one that transcends racial prejudices and social conventions."
