So how many people from the Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and surrounding areas registered for an account with hacked cheating website Ashley Madison? A new interactive map is here to show us a glimpse of just how many accounts there were per area.

The map from website Tecnilogica shows worldwide usage of Ashley Madison’s website, which boasted a confidential way for married people to have an affair — until a hacker group stole those emails and posted them online, that is.

There are allegedly 2,965 Ashley Madison registered users from Lufkin which has a population of just over 36,000 according to a 2014 U.S. census estimate. All in all, we aren't doing as bad as other places based on the number of accounts for men and women. Also that little dot is gray rather than red, so that means there were more women from here than most on the site, per capita. It is also noted that Ashley Madison was putting up thousands of fake female profiles, to hook more men to pay.

Nacogdoches has 2,222 registered according to fox2now.com, but their little dot is red. So that means there were just a few many men in the mix, to make it really worth your while.

If you type your email into this site, they'll do a quick search as to if that email address was made privy to the world during some sort of info breach such as this latest Ashley Madison list.
