Oh, were you just planning on slicing your watermelon into wedges this Memorial Day weekend? We regret to inform you that plain old wedges are now kind of lame.

Forget (if you haven't already) milking, planking, hadokening, any of those-ings that were internet fads for a hot minute. They've been replaced. They're done. Koalaing -- that's the trick o' the day. It involved clinging as tightly to a pole or tree as possible like a koala. It's pretty adorable. Check it out.

Some people express confusion over Americans celebrating Cinco de Mayo, when it's not even that big of a deal in Mexico. We express confusion over people turning down an excuse to eat tacos and sip tequila until the sun comes up/you've gone cross-eyed. Not to mention, did you see that photo? That is a capybara wearing a fake mustache. We rest our case.

If we're going to wax all nostalgic about things, let's not even compare the way things used to be to the way things are now. Let's instead lament how HORRIBLE it would be if things from the past were invented today.
