BTS have been going nonstop since debuting in 2013, so it was no surprised when, back in August, they announced they would be taking a much needed break. The extended hiatus, however, has apparently left some fans nervous that the septet might not return. Thankfully, the group addressed breakup rumors during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, assuring fans that they're not going anywhere.

"It's not a big deal," Suga, through a translator, told the outlet for its latest cover story. "It's literally a vacation."

"I'm just a young man who likes to watch Stranger Things on Netflix and loves to eat and drink beer," RM added. "But I turn on CNN and BBC and they're talking about our vacation. It feels like we're living in a different world."

In case that's not convincing enough, RM also detailed the group's experience presenting at the GRAMMYs earlier this year. "When we were presenting, we said that 'We will be back!', so hopefully we can keep our words," he said, implying he hopes one day BTS will take home a golden gramophone of their own. "It would be an absolute dream come true. Just thinking about it is thrilling."

On August 11, BTS' label Big Hit Entertainment initially announced the band would be going on vacation in a lengthy statement.

"We would like to announce that for the first time since their debut, BTS will be going on an official and extended period of rest and relaxation," it read. "This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators. This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly. During this time, the members will rest and recharge in their own personal ways."

"Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off," the statement continued. "BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have an continue to show them. Thank you."
