The race for song of summer may have officially begun, thanks to the latest by Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa.

The pop heavy-hitters, who announced on April 2 that they officially had a collaboration in the works, released "One Kiss" on Friday (April 6), and the track immediately goes for pop gold.

"Let me take the night, I love real easy / And I know that you'll still wanna see me / On the Sunday morning, music real loud / Let me love you while the moon is still out," Lipa croons on the track, which features Harris' signature brand of breezy synth and uber-cool keyboard effects.

And fans proved they were already eager to party to the club-ready tune.

"WHEN THE BEAT COMES I WAS LIKE WHOOOOAAAAA THAT WAS SO LIT&CHILL," one wrote in the track's YouTube comments section, while another noted "Dua Lipa & Calvin Harris are the best combination together, this song is so good, I feel like dancing."

Rumors first started circulating in March that Harris was seeking out Lipa for a new track. The two were spotted together at the 2017 Brit Awards afterparty at Freemasons' Hall in London, and guests noticed them flirting, according to The Sun.

“Everyone saw Dua make a beeline for Calvin when he arrived," a source told the site. "It wasn’t long until they were deep in conversation – it was like they were the only people in the room."
