Cardi B is having quite a surreal Friday, today (Dec. 7). First, it was revealed that the Invasion of Privacy rapper has been nominated for five 2019 Grammy Awards, including one for the coveted Album of the Year category. Additionally, the Bronx native also had a scheduled court date.

Earlier in the week, on Monday (Dec. 3), Bardi missed a scheduled appearance for an arraignment hearing regarding her assault case, where she is facing charges of reckless endangerment and misdemeanor assault. After missing the court date, the presiding judge issued a warning that if she doesn't show up in court, a bench warrant for her arrest will be issued. Thankfully, it didn't have to come to that.

As reported, the rapper appeared for a court hearing earlier Friday morning, with the judge agreeing to release her without bail. Per TMZ, prosecutors wanted Cardi's bail set at $2,500 but the judge found her not to be a flight risk.

Additionally, TMZ report that the judge did issue a warning expressing that she is to have no contact whatsoever with Baddie Gi and Jade, going on to issue a protective order for both.

Cardi is due back in court next month. She was arrested and booked in October after an altercation broke out at a strip club.

On top of the Grammy nods and her current legal trouble, Cardi B sent fans into a tailspin earlier this week when she announced that she has officially split from husband Offset after one year of marriage.
